Yahoo releases study on VoIP

Yahoo! announced key findings from a new survey commissioned by the National American Testing Organization exploring the role Internet Search plays in the research process for consumers seeking VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) calling solutions. The survey, conducted in August of 2005 using a nationally representative sample of US adults with high-speed connections at home, found Internet Search to be the most trusted, essential information resource for consumers researching VoIP calling services.

VoIP Ireland has swallowed US-based VoIP firm QC2, in a bid to attain the scale it needs to service the internet telephony requirements of corporate America.

Dublin-based VoIP Ireland specialises in adding VoIP gateways onto companies’ existing PBX systems, thereby cutting their phone bills without requiring a large initial capital investment.

Mexico Carrier to Offer VoIP Services to Customers in Latin America, U.S.

IUSACom Networks announced it will deliver VoIP based telephone services to its subscribers and provide turnkey voice services to residential and enterprise customers in Latin America and the United States.

IUSACom Networks will use the Vistula V-Cube VoIP platform which will enable it to offer a range of telephony services from simple IP telephone calls right through to video conferencing.
